Al-Badyh Development and Humanitarian Aid Association implemented 9 projects in 9 Yemeni provinces during Holy month Ramadan, under the framework of Ramadan Goodness Programs, and the funds for the project were provided by several Turkish associations and organizations.
The Association’s Media and Public Relations Director, Muhammed Jamaan Dahlous said with the support of various Turkish organizations they implemented 9 Ramadan projects, namely the iftar project, food parcels, cash assistance, drinking water project, meat distribution project, Eid clothes project, fitrah project, in Aden, Lahj, Abyan, Al Hudaydah, Sanaa, Taiz, and Al Mahwit, Hadramawt and Marib provinces.
Dahlous stated that the Association served (12059) individuals in Hadramaut, Marib, and Lahj provinces, where they organized Iftar projects and food was distributed to orphans, poor, and displaced families. All of these activities were funded by Sancak, Paylaş, Dosteli, Enhar, Sidr associations.
In the Food Package Projects, funded by Sancak Association, Türkiye Diyanet Vakfı, Dosteli Association, Paylaş, Enhar Association, Fazilet Association, and IHH, El-Badia Association distributed (2833) food parcels to orphans, disabled and poor families in Aden, Lahj, Abyan, Hodeidah, Sana’a, Hadhramaut, Maribor provinces. (15726) individuals were benefited from the project.
In addition, with the fund provided by Sancak Association, El-Badia has distributed cash assistance, which benefited (179) orphans and displaced families living in the camps of Al-Rawda and Al-Quoz in Ma’rib province.
Dahlous, added with financial support given by Paylaş, Dosteli, and Eid associations, they sent (274) drinking water tankers to families in the refugee camps in Taiz province, to providing drinking water to (25321) individuals.
In the meat distribution project, with financial support given by Paylaş, Sancak, Enhar, Eid, and El-Sadir Associations, they distributed meat to (4266) individuals including refugees, poor people, orphans, and disabled Hadhramaut and Marib provinces.
Also by the fund provided by Türkiye Diyanet Vakfı and Dosteli Association, Eid clothes distribution project was carried out in Aden, Lahj, Abyan, Al Hudaydah, Sana’a and Al Mahwit provinces. (1652) individuals have benefited.
Also with funds by a number of philanthropists Al-Badyh was able to implement the Zakat al-Fitrah project, to benefit (480) individuals in Hadhramaut provinces.
Finally, Dahlous said that El-Badia implemented (the Ramadan Goodness Programs of the year 1441) in partnership and cooperation with a number of local, regional, and international institutions, associations, and organizations in the shadow of difficult living conditions experienced by most of the population due to the critical events taking place in the country. So The goal was to alleviate the suffering of the poorest families during the holy month of Ramadan. For this reason, El-Badia was keen to check the situation of the needy in every part of Yemen to help.
