Megdi Rabia Bashiuth, the Association’s Director of Programs and Projects and the Head of the Ramadan Aid Programs Committee said that during this year’s (1441) Ramadan,
their association implemented Ramadan aid projects in cooperation with various local, regional and international institutions and organizations in (11) Yemeni provinces, including Lahaj, Taiz, Ma’rib, Shabwa, El-Hodeidah, Abyan, Sana’a, Ab, Al-Mahwit.
Bashiuth added that these projects were dates distribution for Ramadan, organizing iftar programs, food distribution to the needy people, organizing programs in the villages, Eid clothes distribution for the children, cash assistance, meat distribution, drinking water projects, Malakan Project and Zakaat El-fitrah distribution.
In the date distribution project, the association distributed (4,410) date parcels to the (12510) families with a number of (87570) individuals in different parts of the Wadi Hadramout region.
In the iftar project, the association organized Iftar programs for the refugee, sick, and poor families of (12059) individuals in Hadramout, Marib, and Lahj provinces.
Likewise, in the food distribution project, the association distributed food packages to (3613) family (of 21301 individuals) in 7 provinces of Hadith, Marib, Aden, Lahj, Abyan, Sanaa, and Al -Hudaydah.
In the project of activating the villages, which has been held for the 17th season, programs were organized in (31) villages, throughout El-Goton, Wadi Al-Ain, and Hadramout provinces. 4414 people were the beneficiary.
In addition, the Association has implemented projects for distributing Eid clothes in Wadi Hadhramaut, Aden, Lahj, Abyan, Al Hudaydah, Sana, Al Mahwit, Shabwa provinces. (1652) children were benefited from the project.
In the meat distribution project, the Association has distributed meat to (328) orphans and displaced families in this year’s “Help Campaign” in Hadramout and Marib provinces.
During Ramadan, the Association implemented the Drinking Water Project, where (25777) individuals of (278) poor families living in the refugee camps in Taiz province were benefited.
The association has implemented the cash assistance project, which benefited (187) family, of (1151) individuals, in Hadhramaut and Marib provinces.
In addition, Bashtioth added that in the Malakan project, (in its 3rd year) in the district of El-Goton in the Hadramout province, aid was provided to (55) poor, needy and orphan family, consisting of (330) individuals.
In addition, this year, the Association has implemented the Fitrah distribution project, which utilized (75) families of (480) individuals in different parts of El-Goton district.
Bashioth emphasized that these projects were implemented in partnership and cooperation with a number of local, regional, and international institutions, associations, and organizations, including the Sila Development Foundation, the Humanitarian Response Network, the Türkiye Diyanet Vakfı, Paylaş Association, Dosteli Association, and the IHH.
With the war in Yemen, the El-Badia Association implemented Ramadan Goodness Projects of this year (1441), in the shadow of the difficult living conditions of the majority of the country’s population. The projects were carried out in collaboration with various local, regional, and international institutions and organizations to ease the difficulties for poor families and the conditions of those in need, in every region of our country during the holy month of Ramadan.
